Is this really free?
Yes. We do this to meet engineers we'd potentially place. No payment, ever — and no obligation to apply for a role afterward.
What stacks do you cover?
The eight we work — Python / backend, AWS / cloud, JavaScript / Node / TypeScript, DevOps / SRE, Data engineering, ML / AI, Frontend, and Security / DevSecOps. If your stack isn't here, mention it in the booking notes; we may still match you with the right person on our team.
Will it be recorded?
No. We take notes during the interview — kept private, used only to write your feedback. Nothing is shared externally without your explicit consent.
Do I have to apply for a role with you?
No. Mock interviews are standalone. If we think you'd fit a role we're working on, we'll mention it in your feedback. Whether you follow up is entirely up to you.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes — use the link in your Cal.com confirmation email to reschedule or cancel up to four hours before the slot. Repeat no-shows lose access to future bookings.

A senior engineer on our team. Edition Technologies' team is built from engineers with experience at companies like Amazon and Verizon. We don't outsource mock interviews to recruiters — every session is run by someone who has shipped production code in your stack.
