AWS Engineers — Always Hiring.

We place AWS engineers across the United States as roles open with our clients. Submitting your profile adds you to our talent network for current and upcoming consideration.

We routinely place AWS and cloud-platform engineers with our partner vendors' clients across the US — major tech metros and remote-eligible markets. Roles span platform engineering, cloud migration, FinOps, multi-account architecture, and IaC-heavy infrastructure work. We work with engineers from junior through principal, on W-2, 1099, and C2C engagement models. Submit your profile here to be considered for current and upcoming roles. We don't post phantom jobs — we post when we have something real, and we keep your profile in our active bench between engagements.

What we typically place

  • Cloud platform engineers building shared infra (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions)
  • Cloud architects leading migrations off legacy / on-prem
  • DevOps engineers with deep AWS focus and IaC ownership (Terraform / CDK)
  • FinOps practitioners — cost engineering and reserved-capacity planning
  • Cloud security engineers (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM scoping)

What we look for

  • Production experience with at least 3 of: ECS / EKS, Lambda, RDS / DynamoDB, CloudFront, IaC via Terraform / CDK
  • Comfort owning a service end-to-end — not just contributing to one
  • Track record of cost-aware decisions, not just architecturally pretty ones
  • Ability to communicate trade-offs to non-engineers
  • On-call experience and real incident-response stories

Common interview themes

  • Multi-account architecture and cross-account access (Organizations, SCPs)
  • VPC design — subnets, peering, Transit Gateway, the network gotchas
  • IAM scoping and least-privilege patterns at scale
  • Cost engineering — savings plans, RI strategy, autoscaling for bill control
  • Disaster recovery RPO / RTO trade-offs and the actual mechanics

Current market signal

AWS engineers with EKS production experience are 2–3x harder to find than they were two years ago. Most candidates can talk about Kubernetes; few have actually owned an EKS cluster through a node-draining incident. Cloud platform reqs at Series C+ companies are running 60–90 days open. Bill rates have caught up to that scarcity — typical rates for Senior AWS engineers in 2026 sit at the upper end of the 2024 range.

Typical engagement

AWS roles skew toward W-2 contract for mid-level and contract-to-hire for senior+. C2C is common at staff/principal where engineers run their own LLCs. Most clients accept either. The four ABC-test states (CA, NJ, MA, IL) are W-2 only.
